“As the A Short Apnea’s experience came to an end, we met to think over our collaboration through several bands. In twelve years we exchanged experiences, played music and experimented, read and listened; we had strong convergences and divisions, born and dissolved plans. Years in which we have developed, sometimes unconsciously, our personal codes which have been the spirit of our relationship with music and with the people we created it with (in the past and now). Therefore we thought that it was the moment to create something that is the expression of all our experiences lived together. So Uncode Duello is born like a duo, where the codes are denied and revealed and re-elaborated at the same time, where the collaborations with new and old friends are the field to develop in a deeper way our communication and our way to be through music” (Xabier Iriondo, Paolo Cantu’).

In Zaire mixes live dub-funk drum rithms, tribal and african percussions, electrical-indian bassguitar melodies, arabic and psychedelic voices, and minimal-introspective electronic sounds.
In Zaire are Claudio Rocchetti, Alessandro De Zan, Riccardo Biondetti.
Guitar and percussion duo formed by Maurizio Abate (Neokarma, Woodcutter’s Alliance) and Roberto Maggioni (Woodcutter’s alliance, Subcasotto). A cathartic journey across free forms and cosmic suggestions.
* RELLA THE WOODCUTTER
Rella The Woodcutter leads the Rotten Wine Collective from Milan; he play solo shows, electric guitars and voice bringing folksongs into gloomy blues. Anyhow wine flows him into deep meditation.
Sometimes the collective is rejoined with the help of other musicians/freaks/drinkers as Maurizio Abate, Rabaaus, King Ilce, Valla. Since 2005 the woodcutter spreads around 12″ (NIhilist shack), cd-r(hobo 1987, live in modo/leoncavallo), split (w/xy, al doum, valla, bob corn, majirelle).
